Infinity

The passion for this body of work came from looking out to sea and absorbing the space, endless infinity, feeling small in the world in which we inhabit. The work was about the essence of the sea, the light the movement and constant flux. The early part of the research came from field trips, drawing painting and photographing. Influences were Claude Monet, Hiroshi Sugomoto, John Virtue The picture of Latex Tree skin. Represents the destruction of our rain forests. A metaphor as if they are skinned trees.
